Digital surgical guides ensure implants are placed in the bone at the ideal angle and position. Before the surgery, 3D tomography images of the patient’s jaw are obtained. The implant is placed at the correct angle on the virtual image and a rehearsal is conducted. Guide blocks, which allow the designed template to be used on the patient, are placed in the patient’s mouth, and the implants are placed.
